Using funding from Bernalillo County, through the American Rescue Plan Act, Sandia Peak Utility will be replacing aging water service lines in the Sandia Heights area. Currently, the average age of service lines in certain areas exceed 40 years. As these service lines age further, leaks are likely to increase and multiply. Therefore, the company will commence the replacement of the most troublesome service lines in May 2024, with the project expected to extend over a duration of 18 months. When undertaking work in your vicinity, we will notify you of any service interruptions via email and door hangers.

We would like to extend our thanks to Commissioner Walt Benson from Commission District 4 and the staff of Bernalillo County for their support of this project.
